Day Activities
Day 01

ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU AIRPORT.

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, meet and greet by Office Personnel and you will be transferred to the hotel.

Depending upon your arrival time, if time permits you will visit:

●      Pashupatinath Temple– The religious Shiva Temple, for Darshan. It is Kathmandu’s most visited temple of Lord Shiva.

●      Bouddhanath Stupa– The holiest shrine for Buddhist culture. The stupa’s massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and in the world. It represents the Tibetan culture in Kathmandu.

Dinner and Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02

KATHMANDU TO NAGARKOT (EN ROUTE BHAKTAPUR SIGHTSEEING)

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Nagarkot, en route, you will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square

●      Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an ancient city listed on UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is popular for traditional art and architecture, historical monuments and craftwork, magnificent windows, and pottery.

After the visit, Lunch will be provided at The Nanee Hotel, Bhaktapur, Then make your way towards Nagarkot.

●      Nagarkot commands one of the broadest panoramic views of the Himalayas (8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13 from here) with views of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park. Nagarkot is surrounded by thickly forested hills of beautiful pine trees, giving you a pastoral scene.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the beautiful sunset from the hotel balcony/ rooftop in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 03

DRIVE TO KATHMANDU FROM NAGARKOT

Early morning, enjoy a beautiful sunrise view from the hotel balcony. Breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Kathmandu. On the day, you will visit: Chandragiri Temple, En route Swyambhunath Stupa

●      Swyambhunath Stupa: Swayambhunath is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. The Tibetan name for the site means ‘Sublime Trees’, for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. It is the oldest stupa in Nepal (13 century) popularly known as “The Monkey Temple”.

Chandragiri Hill for sightseeing. We will drive to the base of Chandragiri Hill Station and have to buy a ticket for the cable cars. Then riding a cable car ride you will reach the top of the hill.

●      Chandragiri Hills is naturally beautiful and considered one of the best hill station destinations at a height of 2500 m. It offers a mesmerizing view of the Kathmandu Valley surrounded by a series of Himalayan mountains smiling over the green hills, adventurous activities, cultural significance, and a relaxing atmosphere. You can see Annapurna on the west,  Everest on the east, and major mountains like Ganesh Himal, Mount Manaslu, Langtang Lirung, etc. You will be delighted to see those landscapes and their beauty from the top of the hill.

After the visit, drive back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 04

DRIVE TO POKHARA

Early morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Pokhara– the city of lakes and also a gateway to the Himalayas.

Optional En route, you will visit Manakamana Temple “Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes” where a cable ride of 10 min takes you at an extra cost.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is leisure.

Dinner and Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 05

POKHARA CITY TOUR

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, then proceed for the day’s sightseeing:

●      Devi Falls is also known as “Patale Chhango”. The waterfall runs down some rocks before disappearing into an underground tunnel leading to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.

●      Gupteshwor Mahadev– The shrine is dedicated to Shiva. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits.

●      Bindhyabasini temple- The Temple is considered the oldest temple in Pokhara and is dedicated to the goddess Bindhyabasini, a Bhagawati who is the avatar of Kali.

●      Mahendra Cave– It is a large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites. The cave is named after the previous king of Nepal “King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah”.

●      The Bat Cave– The Bat Cave (Chamero Gufa in Nepali) is a solutional cave in Pokhara, Nepal. It is known for its habitat of Horseshoe bats inside the cave, over the walls and ceiling. The cave is formed of limestone.

●      International Mountain Museum- It showcases indigenous inhabitants of the mountain regions of Nepal and the world.

●      Gurkha Museum: Museum with interactive multimedia exhibits dedicated to the history of Nepal’s Gurkha soldiers.

●      Seti River Gorge– Seti River is well-known for its misleading river course and its milky foam. The water cuts a bottomless gorge right across the almighty Mahabharata range then runs a deep abyss in the middle of the town.

●      Tal Barahi Temple: Tal Barahi Temple, also referred to as Lake Temple or Varahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple situated on a small island on Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Varahi, who is an avatar of Goddess Durga, both Hindu and Buddhist supporters visit here for worship.

●      Phewa Tal: Phewa Tal is the second largest and most visited lake in Nepal. The lake is one of the freshwater lakes of Pokhara that has an island temple in the center of the Lake “Tal Barahi”, is famous for boating and on a clear day offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Machhapuchhre and other mountain peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

After the visit, drive back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 06

DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kathmandu- The cultural heart and capital city of Nepal.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, and the rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

 

Day 07 DEPARTURE.

Breakfast at the hotel, then proceed for the day’s sightseeing to Kathmandu Durbar Square:

●      Kathmandu Durbar Square- It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites which is popular for their traditional art and architecture, authentic culture, different styled temples, historical monuments, craftwork, magnificent windows, and many more. Some of the attractions of Kathmandu Durbar Square are the ancient royal palace where the Kings of Kathmandu resided, Kal Bhairav Temple, Taleju Bhawani, Swyat Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka Palace Museum, Gaddi Baithak, and many more.

After the visit, you will be dropped at the airport in time to board your flight for your onward journey with the great experience of Nepal’s tour.
